Join the Fight for Overdose Prevention Centers
We are in the midst of a tragic overdose crisis that’s claiming the lives of our loved ones. In 2024 alone, 80,391 people died of overdose in this country.
It doesn’t have to be this way, and we need your help to save lives.
Overdose prevention centers (OPCs) are vital in our fight to curb this crisis. They are safe spaces for people to use drugs under the supervision of staff trained to treat and prevent drug overdose and connect people to drug treatment, housing, and other needed services. In 2021, two OPCs opened in New York City. Since then, they have averted more than 1,800 potentially fatal overdoses.
These lifesaving services are needed everywhere now more than ever. Sign up to join our fight for OPCs nationwide.
