Congress: Stand Up to Sessions
Vermont just became the 9th state to legalize marijuana. This comes after Attorney General Jeff Sessions opened the door for a federal crackdown on legal marijuana by rescinding the Cole Memo, Obama-era guidance that allowed states to implement their own marijuana laws with limited federal interference.
Despite that alarming announcement, advocates like you and states like Vermont are fighting back. It’s time for Congress to follow suit. Demand that your Members of Congress stop Sessions’ Justice Department from interfering with state marijuana laws.
